Opening reception: Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 5—8 PM
LOWELL hours: Wednesday—Saturday 12—7 PM & Sunday 12—5PM
ARTIST STATEMENT
my fear is a wave
that pushes a message in a bottle
to a deserted island
for no one to read
my distress is a telephone
ringing and ringing
with no answering machine
my weakness is three blind mice
with their backs
to a hungry cat
my obsession is a bird
that is migrating
to no particular destination
my neglect is a mouth
that doesn't know
whether to smile or frown
my spirit is the sound of rats in the attic
who have grown to hate
the taste of cheese
between a wire and a piece of wood
