Mood Series
This series explores ways to keep people connected through art despite what we are all going through together. The goal of the series is to showcase creatives in Rose City, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond in a fun and creative way for artists who don't have to relate to their studio practice. The hope is that it is inspiring and entertaining for both artists and viewers alike. In hope to sustain and encourage creativity while we’re unable to come together in person at art exhibitions and events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Online exhibitions, interviews, and other virtual art shows are all great options to connect and engage with art virtually during this time. However, we wanted to do something a little more relaxed, less involved with a lot less pressure, a mood offers this opportunity for creatives.
Artists share (up to 9) images, either of their own or from others that inspire them. A short piece of writing; a description of the mood board, a poem, or other writing may be included by the artist, as well as a music playlist or other aspects of ephemera related to the artist’s vision.
