Tamara Seal: Clark Art Talks Clark College’s Artist & Scholar Lecture Series

Zoom Meeting ID: 843 3579 1852 PW: 157815

Tamra Seal creates space—not merely objects. Her light oriented Installations embody a personal vision of the California myth, deeply influenced by and sourced from cinematic and science fiction tropes. Oscillating between 2D and 3D perceptual phenomena, her work challenges the viewer to contemplate their individual sensory experience. She is curious about what the color of the future could be, how various optical perceptions affect emotional response, and how light plays a role in a sciencefiction utopian gaze. She received her MFA in Sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute. Her work has been exhibited at Ever Gold, Cult Exhibitions, Hilde LA, Durden and Ray.
