This month's exhibition features vibrant abstract paintings by Judy Wise and expressive sculptures by Wataru Sugiyama. With no methods to Judy's process, she paints chaos while trying to bring order to that chaos. Often trancelike, there is an implied trust that with imperfection, she can endure and find beauty. Alternatively, Wataru interprets imagery and provides a modern twist by incorporating his own vision to create a sense of humor, powerful presence, and lasting impression.
