"It is a rare treat to have a truly personal and transforming experience with art. Hodges channels energy from the world to spark such a connection with one's own history. Through his highly attuned sensibility, he evokes moments that leave a lasting imprint on the mind, representing their defining elements through material. Hodges' spirit of generosity pervades his work, as each piece invites the viewer into an interactive exchange of energy and recollection.
Drawing upon a rich legacy of conceptual and minimal artists experimenting with the sublime properties of space and light, Hodges plays with light, reflection, and perception...
...Hodges' approach to capturing experience through such diverse media as collage, light, and reflection makes sense considering the variety of elements that form experience."
