"Holding The Ghosts" an exploration of things that haunt us. Inspired by folklore and customs around the globe involving the containment of spirits in containers. in 12 pairings of images and clay vessels, the housed spirits are metaphorical--past experience, emotions, fears, addictions and patterns of behavior. Some vessels lock away malevolent spirits while others house benevolent spirits, keeping them safe.
