chimæra.site/afk is a temporary creative community space that brings together artists, makers, performers, and community organizers who are thinking about the chimeric qualities of hybridity and (im)possibility. The two-week occupation of a Lloyd Center storefront space will feature an art exhibition; a market with art, apparel, and goods by local makers; free/public workshops; and music, drag, and dance performances.

This space is for anyone who is interested in: storytelling, monsters, cyborgs, mutation, hybridity, glitch, world-building/destroying, time, dystopias/utopias, magic… or just chilling and looking at rad art!
