Jordana and the Masters of Photography investigates the intimate layers of womanhood and identity in an often male-dominated art form. Kalman’s photographs are viewed through a window cut into the works of the “master photographers” she admires. By poetically repositioning her gaze inside this narrative, she asks us to question who is considered worthy in the historical canon of photography.
